Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was born in Minsk Belarus, which is the capital. Belarus. Sergey Her father (who died in 2019) was a ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born Minsk, Belarus on May 5th, 1998. In her career she has been awarded 12 WTA singles titles, including one Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. For doubles she's a great player. She has won two Majors with Elise Mertens in the US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. Additionally, she was able to complete her Sunshine Double in 2019, taking the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open with Elise Mertens. Four couples only managed to make it happen in women's doubles. In January of 2023 she achieved her highest rank in singles. On the 23rd of August in 2021, she shot up to number two in the ranks. She rose up to the top of the doubles ranking in the following year, following triumphing in Melbourne. It made her the second Belarusian tennis player succeed in her field. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach from 2018, until the season ended in 2019, and also for a short duration at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was the coach she worked with from the month of August through September 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman has been her coach since the year 2020. Serena Williams is her role for a role model, closely then Maria Sharapova.
